With @Prema ability he could easily tweak the hell out of his machine according to how his hardware reacts. Making a public bios set I'm sure requires more moderate settings and options for maximum compatability, reliability and performance.

It becomes a different experience when you have to be on the other end of a phone supporting such a BIOS

Especially once you go official.
This is above simple forum level fun, people paying real money, which means real consequences, which means most bases covered, which means time = money.Spartan@HIDevolution, TBoneSan, Papusan and 1 other person like this. -
Agree. Everyone needs a warranty because parts can fail due to defects. Folks like us do not require tech support and probably a fair number of us know a lot more than most of the industry's tech support staff that cannot help any customer if the scenario is not found on their diagnostic flow chart.DreDre, Spartan@HIDevolution, TBoneSan and 2 others like this.

Well everyone needs some level of support, say my ram failed I would be upset since it's not really being pushed beyond stock much. -

surprisingly, despite the CPU speed being higher / more stable, my benchmarks went down, blame it on the crappy latest nVIDIA Drivers
I'm not gonna bother going back to the old driver which I initially used but will just wait for the next good driver to redo the graphics benchmarks.
I have updated the SSD Benchmarks though, now on RAID 0 with 2x Samsung 950 Pro (just to get higher benchmark scores) -
376.19 , have been the best one for benchmarks. At least for me. All of the ones after that - 10 to 15% lower scores at least.Last edited: Jan 11, 2017Papusan, Spartan@HIDevolution and Prema like this.

Is there a prema BIOS available for the 870dm3 yet?

yes, only through the Prema Partners. Contact your reseller if you bought it from a Prema Partner.
I got mine from HIDevolution -
Yes I just received the email. Thx but I need to wait until the 1st of february

What r the improvement? And is that for the vbios too? Will the graphic card now stay below 90? Lol

1) a BIOS will not reduce your temps
2) It's only the BIOS as it states, we just got done testing the BIOS to give you the best stable BIOS that will transform your laptop from a turtle to a beast
3) Improvements? 1) No more CPU Throttling when the CPU + GPU are used at the same time. 2) Better RAM stability for those with 3000 MHz. RAM. 3) Keyboard lights are now white by default rather than blue. 4) All overclocking features open, increasing the Turbo Power, Power limits to prevent throttling and/or overclocking obviously, undervolting or changing the voltage, etc. 5) Enabling Intel Speed Shift Technology now possible 6) Disabling hibernation from the BIOS. etc.
4) I will create a video guide tonight on how to use it and go through all the features.
5) Please update your signature so we can know that you're an EVOC owner
you can copy/paste the signature/ images from my signature and edit it to your laptop specs

Ok I was lucky n HID flashed my laptop before. Now I tried to undervolt the cpu by 100 and the laptop dont post
. Is there a bios reset key or something?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I think you'll have to open up the laptop, remove the battery and remove the CMOS battery for a few seconds, that resets the BIOS to default settings.

Any suggestions? It is in a boot loop. N dont show anything.

Im scared of prime. I tried the intel one before flash and it went to 90+ in like 5 sec lol

Just a quick question. Which option set the core volt? I set overdrive and put 1.34 but it show 1.4+ in the cc overclock, cpu-z, and hwmonitor.

2nd sub menu
then 2nd overclocking menu (located a bit below the first overclocking menu)
then processor
you can choose static or adaptive voltage
if you put static, example, if you want 1.28V, you would enter 1280
If you want adaptive, leave it at 0, but set the core voltage offset to let's say 40
then underneath it, select - or +
obviously if you select - it's an undervolt of 40mV, if you select +, it would be an overvolt of 40mV from the stock voltageLast edited: Jan 13, 2017theangelofspace15 likes this. -
Im doing something wrong. I set it to 1300
And this is what I get

Oh I install the Clevo Control Center without that built in OC utility, it may conflict with the BIOS values
please uninstall it then reboot
then:
Control Center AP v5.1.1.7 (AKA Hotkey Driver)
To install the Clevo Control Center without the built-in CPU/Memory Overclocking tool (which contains XTU components):
Edit the OEM.INI file in the Clevo Control Center driver's directory before you install it:
Change SupportXTUFanTable=1 to SupportXTUFanTable=0 -
Try not to use static voltage for stock clocks unless you know exactly what voltage your processor needs.
It is much better (and easier) to use a negative offset and do stability tests while taking the offset up or down.Spartan@HIDevolution likes this. -
Will try and post results. Thanks

I hope that him setting the static voltage and it not reflecting properly is an easy fix by simply uninstalling CCC with its built in XTU. Let's seebloodhawk likes this. -
Thanks. I got pretty good temps in auto. It went to 1.34 at 4.5ghz so im trying to set that one and move from there

That is way to high for stock. set it for like 1150hmscott, Papusan and Spartan@HIDevolution like this.

4 hours at 250kbts lol. I will let it downloading and update tomorrow lol
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkSpartan@HIDevolution likes this. -
Thays for 4.5ghz but I put it stock cause it was auto jumping to 1.4+ so if I put more than stock it would jump. So I set stock and test to see if it stated at what I set it to.

These are laptops. It' not going to "lock" any one voltage. It works off of a curve. IIRC

I know. But it should be limited to what you set it to. Can go lower but never higher

just edit the oem.ini file in the setup folder in CCC -
It didnt fix it. I even tried adaptive with +50mv and still get 1.4v I just gonna wait for the video. Im provably doing something wrong. If anyone have a 4.4+ghz overclock I will appreciate if you post your setting. Thx
