I sure hope so. Or even if there aren't any "official" 120hz variants that the panel holes line up with existing or future 120hz options.

Yes we will offer 120Hz FHD and QHD. Working on 4K 120Hz too. This is EUROCOM model Q7.

Hahaha weird. I just emailed you guys to ask if you were going to carry it. When will it be in stock do you think?

Also, will you be offering the 7820HK with this model? Many places I see with this only offer the 7700hq...

Can someone confirm this model and its less colorful clone (PA71HS-G) come with a 230 Watt adapter? Most resellers are listing with a 230 Watt, but a couple with 200 Watt which to me seems inadequate for a GTX 1070 laptop under full load...
-
Waiting for this as well. Also curious about what the higher-end screen models will be.
-
Eurocom just emailed me back. I just asked them now through email if the 7820HK will be offered. Will post back when I get response. Also, didn't even realize the PA71 and PA70 were different. Apparently the latter has red accents around the exhaust grill

Nice
-
Is there even a 4K 120Hz panel on the market? Which model is that?
-
Just got this email from Eurocom. Not far away at all!

Nothing on the market just yet. -
I suppose this will get updated in december to the 6 core 8820HK .
-
That would be wonderful haha. We'll have do see I guess. Is the 8820HK even confirmed to exist?

This Australian reseller has the 120Hz QHD G-Sync option along with the 4K G-Sync:
http://www.metabox.com.au/store/b231/Metabox-Prime-S-PA70HS-G-Laptop -
445 AUD$ for QHD (350 USD), that's too high..
-
Will the 120Hz FHD and 120HZ QHD panels support G-sync? Thanks.
-

Australian prices can be odd. -
The equivalent in USD would be $200 .
-
Meaker@Sager Company Representative
That makes a bit more sense. -
is it a maxq 1070 or a normal notebook 1070?
-
Full fat 1070 if I'm not mistaken. That's what retailers are advertising.

ok. anyone got photos of the guts?

-

There is no option for eating the 2.5" bay with a larger set of cells no. -
thanks!
-
They probably had thoughts about it or have future plans as the existing battery lines up perfectly with the bay.

hey guys should i wait for this model with 60hz or get the p650hs-g with 120hz, can't afford the 120 hz on the pa70hs-g $445 is asking too much.
What are the benefits of the pa70hs-g besides the screen size and thunderbolt 3.0?
Appreciate the opinions!
edit: forgot to add that i will mostly be using the laptop for gaming -
I also think so
Customers ask for bigger batteries -
IMO considering screens you can get, base your decision on that
-
Here are the specs for me:
7820HK probably 8820HK in the future
120Hz display with at least QHD resolution
GTX 1070
256GB M.2 SSD + 1 TB HDD - I already have the HDD
16 GB of RAM
Intel Wireless
Windows 10 Pro
Am I missing anything ? -

That or the edge of the motherboard and width of the 2.5 inch bay gives a natural shape

Just wondering, why not ryzen?
-
Hey Meaker@Sager, would it be possible for you to point out where the M.2 slots are? Can't see em in the picture.
-
Meaker@Sager Company Representative
By the sodium slots. -
how many hours of battery life (wifi web surfing) with a 4cells 66Wh battery?
-
so would you say theres any benefit for the PA70hs-p model?
-
Cause they are not offering it.
I could estimate it if I knew if it's Optimus or not.sicily428 likes this. -
Deleted.

According to Sager Website, it has user switchable. Sounds like the same reboot/in BIOS setup that is in the P650HS-G

So it has both G-sync and Optimus. that's perfect.
Edit: According to my algorithm, on Optimus it should get you 4 - 6 hours of moderate usage.Last edited: Aug 25, 2017 -
That's not bad at all. Could mean this thing could be a daily driver as well as a gaming laptop!
-
how many if they realize also a 6cells 99Wh battery?
-
According to my algorithm, on Optimus it should get you 4 - 6 hours of moderate usage.
6-8 hours, similar to the Aero 15.sicily428 likes this. -
Does anyone know if this model has the annoying CPU fan always running at idle? Also, what are the Temps like on this model?

There is no review anywhere yet, dunno if any customer got their hands on it either..jrwingate6 likes this.

I don't think it's possible to have Optimus and G-Sync at the same time. This has what's branded as "Microsoft Hybrid Graphics Mode" so you'll have to reboot to switch back and forth (unlike Optimus which auto switches between the dGPU and iGPU depending on load).
EDIT: Apparently "Microsoft Hybrid Graphics Mode" automatically switches back and forth between the dGPU and iGPU for the OS and applications. I'm not sure if this means it's specific to what applications support it.Last edited: Aug 25, 2017Zeke777 likes this.
