Comparing the specs and pictures of this and the W25AES they seem to be almost identical minus the 630m. Have any of the builders tried to put a B156HW01 V.4 screen that most offer for the second in the first? Maybe Sager and others assume that those willing to pay for a 95% gamut matte would also opt for a dedicated card.
An odd question to ask I know

Just to answer you and any future nbr members - this model doesn't support 1080p or even 900p.

It likely does, in fact I'll wager the 1366x768 panel is no different from the one on the W25AES... probably the same model. It's bad business however to offer premium screens on cheap laptops. People might start wondering why they're spending upwards of $1000 to browse the web and watch movies.

While the laptop it-self does support 900 or 1080. The LVDS cable that connects to the screen and probably the video port on the motherboard that the LVDS cable plugs into is a single channel, and so only supports 768, as 900 or 1080 requires a dual channel LVDS setup. So thats why a higher resolution on these is not supported, it would take a redesigned LVDS cable and LVDS port to support the higher resolutions.

Ah ok, thanks for the explanation!
