I've seen this happen in CPU intensive games such as Warzone on my end.

You might be running REALLY close to your stability point then and may need to back off a bit. Voltage requirements do jump a little with temperature, that's why you should leave a margin.

Yup, power leakage is a real issue when redlining it. I tend to prefer having the cores <80c for prolonged usage, ideally in the mid 60s for general gaming.

That's quite the demand lol, 4.7 was the most on air under avx.

Well, you can always run TimeSpy and FireStrike at 5.3 and maybe R15 at 5.2

I'm back to 24/7 clocks of about 4.7Ghz (no offset) and +150/+1050 for the GPU. In lighter games it goes all the way up to 2100Mhz lol so part of lowering the overclock was to keep that side under control.

    Hi.
What GTX 1080 temperatures do you have with 870tm vapor chamber cooling (can be other p870 vapor chambers)?
My one gtx repasted with phobya nanogrease extreme when using 175W - 190W with maximum fans, heatsink gaps sealed, 2cm back rised, bottom cover air blockade panels intact and room temperature 22°C peaks at around 74°C, hotspot 84°C, but second gpu have only 63°C and 74°C hotspot. Also after turning off game temperature drops immediately by around 10°C and then decreases normally. Is this 10°C-11°C diffrence in both cases ok? With both gpu's in use temperature difference does not exceed 2°C. I know that 1080 is pretty difficult to cool down due to power and smaller die size.

Sounds like a slight pad/fitment difference. Plus the silicon lottery will dictate some difference between the two and sensor calibration.
