After the latest BIOs update I noticed more fan activity, seems like Samsung lowered the values which trigger the fan. Before that BIOS I had a complelty silent device in Office/Eclipse.

Then we opened a friends Mac Pro and noticed the cheap thermal paste, I was pretty sure my laptop had that too. I would suggest to exchange the paste if you are already swapping your HDD for a SSD.

Samsung applied tons of it and it already hardened like a rock. To exchange it I used IC Diamond - also a hell to apply but if you make a line and let the coolor plate squeeze it, you will be fine.

See attachment pic for what they did. Took me an hour to clean this mess up.
After my IC Diamond paste was applied, I can even watch Youtube videos FANLESS !

It's 37-39°C IDLE (22°C room temp) and 48-49°C when watching Youtube.
1300€ and they won't add proper thermal paste, increasing your heat by 3-4°C in IDLE just to save 10 cents.

    /edit
