    Hi
    My samsung NP530U4B - Bios 11XK - SSD 830 - Windows 8 clean install
    Power led stay ON & continue consume after click on shutdown button of windows 8, same problem for Restart, Hibernate ..etc..
    I have to push & keep on button ON/OFF to shutdown it completely.
    Could someone help to solve this problem?

    Look in Event Viewer > System Log to see what happens at the time you tell the computer to shut down. It might list whatever is blocking the shutdown.

    Thanks John. System log seems normal. I think that the problem given from BIOS. But I can not roll back it.

    If the problem might be at the BIOS level then it's worthwhile trying to do a reset by turning the computer off then disconnecting the mains power, disconnecting the battery and holding the power button down for a minute. Then reconnect mains and battery and start normally.

    .I did your suggestion & roll back the Bios. But the problem is not solve.
