    Hi,
I've brought a NP300E4ZAO6IN , free DOS Samsung notebook from flipkart & Installed windows 7 ultimate in it . Just after 30 days, I noticed the laptop's charge level doesn’t increases from 22% even though when I plugged in the AC and windows shows "plugged in , charging". the LED also turns red indicating the laptop's battery being charged but the battery level is stuck 22% & it decreases it is unplugged (runs on battery).

    I goggled a lot and

►kept the AC plugged in for overnight
    ►Cleaned the battery pins
►Performed a reset by removing battery and prolong pressing of power button.
► uninstalled & reinstalled the Microsoft ACPI battery driver from device manager
    ►Updated the BIOS
    ►Recalibrated the battery

None of them helped, I took the laptop to Samsung service centre (SSC). I don’t know what they did but worked fine again . On asking they said windows 7 wiped certain files and he fixed them.
On the very same day the issue came back. I went to SSC and they solved the issue again but this time they said he fixed nothing the laptop turned ok on its own. Now this cycle continued thrice, then SSC finally
►Replaced the battery with a new one
but the problem still persists but at different Charge level.
    Any HELP?

Have you got Samsung's Easy Settings installed? If not, do so. This package includes various interfaces to the hardware.

    1. In Easy Settings try changing the setting for the battery life extender from what it is now.
    2. Use HWiNFO to check the battery details. Does the battery discharge but not recharge (so the charge keeps dropping) or does it recharge to the same level?

I would wonder whether there is a problem either with the power board or the battery contacts. If you boot into the BIOS (press F2 at the BIOS screen) and the battery still does not charge then you know that it's nothing to do with Windows / software / drivers so it must be hardware.
