I've looked all over their website and can't seem to find any current 1920x1080 laptops from Samsung...I know they used to make these, but is full HD long gone for them? The highest I see is 1600x900.

There is a 17in 1920x1080 samsung series 7 laptop, but it is yet to be released yet and as said above the gamer laptop, which is really expensive.

I should state I live in the US. I am looking for something thin/light, quad core, and full HD. Can't seem to find anything fitting the thin part (can live with a bit heavy) other than Samsungs.

The NP700G7A is only available overseas right?

That NP700G7A is very interesting. High performance i7-2670QM CPU, double the graphics cache (2GB), double the DIMM slots (4), full HD display. It's a damn shame it's 17 ", unavailable, and about $2300.

If only they could cram all that into the 15" Chronos and charge under $1500...
