Hello everybody,
I'm opening a new thread because I didn't find much informations about the subject and I hope there are others also interested about this.
I consider buying a 530U3C with Intel i5-3317U processor; my usage will be strictly on business tasks if I may say so (office apps, web browsing, some app development), no gaming at all or heavy multimedia tasks, but I want to use it about 8 hours on a daily basis and here comes my concern about build quality and time endurance. It will be my first ultrabook, until now i've done all of this on a notebook and I don't know if ultrabooks these days are good for such a usage.
I want to ask you to share your experience with this model, how is it lasting through time? How is the stifness of the chassis now, the hinges and the heat management? I ask about the heat because before ultrabooks appeared, everywhere there were recommendations to not block with anything the ventilation shafts and now I see in many ultrabooks models that the heat is dissipated directly into the display hinges and the bottom of the display; isn't the excessive heat affecting those parts physically?
Thank you very much.
