Thanks for releasing these drivers. Seems that they are the first drivers that actually install (besides the prehistorically dated Samsung stock AMD drivers) and have superior performance.

Tested the 13.11b6,b7,b8 and with at least one version Battlefield 3 worked well and had good FPS.

But in BF4 I get totally screwed up renderings (for all versions so far)... like, glitches, flashes, how to call them? Like a texture glitch. The 8870m is working (with BF3, Direct X 9 or 10 I think), there is some sky visible, sometimes part of a building, but it's unplayable. Can't see what I'm doing. So it seems like it can't handle DirectX 11 or something? I can't remember very well but I think I got one of these Enduro fix drivers working with the BF4 beta before. Wish I hadn't uninstalled them to try newer updates...

    - Removed all drivers before installing
    - All CCC config settings on optimized

Right now I have installed beta 6. CCC won't recognize all settings.
Beta 7 and beta 8 won't start my graphics card at all (exclamation mark in device manager).

    Hardware (it's a laptop):

    Samsung Ativ book 8
    Samsung 840 EVO SSD
    8GB RAM
    AMD 8870M 2GB
    1920x1080 integrated screen
    Intel HD4000 onboard

    OS:
    Windows 8.0 64bit

    1) Should I take a different driver version for the 8870M?
    2) Does the Intel HD4000 have anything to do with the glitches?
    3) is DirectX 11 not supported 100% yet?

Ah, so Samsung is not supported by these drivers then (because of the Enduro series, of which the 8870m is part)? Can't see any Enduro drivers in that forum.

It's remarkable that the drivers work for some games though. I thought I could get to know more about why it works for BF3 and not BF4.

Actually, I think it's the BF4 campaign mode that has rendering problems, multiplayer works so the drivers are good!

Well if it was generally about the modified drivers keep to the thread about them for support rather than creating another thread.

    Glad it's working though.

And you have an 8870m? I'm trying to run BF4 on my 8870m and I'm getting the same flashing problems. I just tried 13.10, and have yet to find a 13.11 driver that will install...

yes, OK, 13.9 WHQL works for me, I can install the enduro fix 13.11 drivers from here by disabling the "signed driver" setting in Windows 7 and 8 with bcdedit. But the 13.11 ones all have the flashing problems here. Maybe because the 8870m's graphic control panel gets broken on newer drivers and it can't switch properly to the dedicated GPU, so it takes the onboard GPU.

Moved to samsung, so you may want to link to which driver you are talking about for the sake of clarity if you used a modded driver that you got in the Sager/Clevo forums.

Ok, so I'm a bit unclear on this topic. Did you manage to solve your BF4 problems with the 13.11 driver? I have literally the same problem you had with BF4 and have no idea what to do about it. The 13.11 driver says it's incompatible when I try to install it and the 13.9 driver seems to install, but then I check my driver version and nothing shows up. The only one that worked for me was 13.10, and that has the same BF4 issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just upgraded to 13.10 beta 2 and it works great, definitely higher fps than previous drivers! Maybe I will try 13.11b1 once again.

Also on a Samsung? I get a code 43 error (device has errors in device manager) for all 13.11 beta 2+ drivers so far. From where did you get the driver?

Everyone who is having problems playing games, any game for that matter, stick to the 13.9 WHQL Driver or the 13.11 Beta 1. DO NOT GO HIGHER. ANYTHING HIGHER WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF SWITCHABLE GRAPHCIS FORCING GAMES TO USE THE INTEL CARD.

I dont have bf4 for pc yet, but i played the beta with a mix of high and medium at 1080p at 42fps, I have the 8770M The 8870M is essentially the same card, just have 2gb of VRAM instead of 1GB and a bit higher clock so AMD says, yet my catalyst control center says mine is running at 825. you would only need the extra VRAM if you are Going beyond 1080p and super sampling, which this card cannot handle anyway. If he can play it, you can play it. I know on the beta, the sweet spot for BF4 was at 1600x900

Yea for me it also says 2.1 GB, it says that because it has 1024MB of Dedicated on the chip itself, but if anything runs over it gets loaded into RAM up to an equal amount of the graphics memory, 1GB, which is almost as fast as GDDR5.
