So I want to upgrade my CPU, but as my CPU is soldered to my motherboard, I can't just upgrade the CPU, I do want to know if I bought the same model motherboard as my laptop, it would work, right? I have an:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3230M CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2601 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s) and my laptop is a Samsung NP300E5E.
So does anyone know if this would work, and where I could find the same model of my motherboard, just with a better CPU?
Thanks in advanced

In theory, it should work. May I ask why you'd like to upgrade the CPU in your laptop?

I see. It seems that they recommend that you have a quad core CPU. That might be a bit tough to get to. A quad core CPU model might have a different heatsink or AC adaptor requirements, or might not even be available for your laptop model.
