All was well but now I think I may be hosed by graphics switching. Advice?

So far everything I wanted to use worked okay but today I tested some mission-critical software for my work, Virtual DJ. VDJ does not recognize the AMD display adapter even after setting it to high performance in the graphics settings. I only get the option for the intel adapter and the video output is incredibly choppy.

The Virtual DJ devs seem to be aware of this issue with newer laptops. It has been addressed and fixed by Nvidia. Am I totally SOL or is there a way to force this software to use the AMD adapter?

I tried the Leshcat driver, and I attempted to update my bios (but it said my version was newer). Nothing helps.
