    Hi all,

I recently bought the Chronos 7 UK version and I am sometimes quite annoyed by the slowness of easy settings. At work I use a Lenovo laptop and it is so much quicker when changing the brightness or enabling / disabling wireless via the FN key. It just looks hardwired into the system via a driver instead of a piece of propieretary and slow software that I have to use to change settings. This should and can go much faster!!

My question in this thread is thus as follows:

Is it possible to make use of all the hotkey configuration keys without installing Samsung Easy Settings? This also counts for enabling the expresscache and other settings other than brightness and volume control.

For example, if I would do a fresh install of Windows and would not install the easy settings software, would Windows replace this functionality by their own generic driver? Alternatively, is there a third party software or open source solution for these controls?

In the mean time, you cannot use those key without Easy Setting install. Windows cannot know those functionallity because each function key bind to different function and being control by software. One guy in this forum actually creates a software that allows you to control those, but it is still working in progress.
