I am asking because they are the only player left who have yet to release info on a refresh for their gaming line, if sammy release these in 6 months time it would be pretty retarded, but then again I wouldn't be surprised .
Anyways just curious to see what they are going to offer, Nvidia GTX 770m most likely, but could possibly be 780m maybe an option for Ati 8970m .
It would be cool to see them use their SSD's and PLS screens, it is silly they don't take advantage of this, seeing they manufacture these parts themselves, ultimately cutting the costs of outsourcing and being able to offer a very competitive premium laptop .
I hope they decide to go for a new design, aluminum chassis, matte cover and bezel, premium audio, keyboard and cooling .
I do not understand why Asus/Lenovo/Toshiba/Samsung do not offer more customization for backlit leds usually offering only blue, only red, or only white, take a cue from Alienware/Msi/Clevo for once, they could also go with mxm this time around and make it more friendly/simple for user upgrades etc...
I am probably asking to much, but sometimes I wonder what in the world a company like Samsung are thinking when they design new stuff, obviously to reduce costs and maximize profits, but it is a shame knowing they could so easily do this while one upping their competition .

I've been wondering this same thing. They need to release an update quick. Waiting months is losing the hardcore set that have already blown their money on one of the other available routes to acquiring a 780M.

I'm considering selling mine and going Razer Blade..

I think they just did the T02 update with AMD GPU. I am guessing if Samsung were to update it would be Haswell but which GPU would be the main question.............

Edit, a Razor is GTX 765m, which is not really much, if at all, faster than the current GTX 675m we have now in these.

I like to game with it on a lap desk and is a perfect combination of speed and weight. I'd be giving up the fantastic gamer 7 panel, but at the slightly lower resolution and the fact that the 765M is actually faster in some situations it should be a good fit.

Your not interested in Msi GS70 stealth? that should be right up your ally, and I got to say I find it way nicer looking than the blade . ^^

Too heavy.. after having this gamer 7 for a year I'm growing weary of the nearly 9lbs on my lap. The Razer is half that with the same gaming performance. And there is no way the msi looks better than the blade. I suppose that's personal preference.
