    Ativ 500t - power button not working in windows

    Hello, I own this tablet pc model. My issue is that in Windows the power button has no function. If the tablet is powered off I can start it from the button but it doesn't lock it or put it to sleep inside Windows. I even held it for a good 10 secconds and it didn't do anything.
    I have all of the drivers installed from SW Update.

    What could be the issue?

    In Windows Power Management what action do you have for the power button?

    You may find it worthwhile reinstalling Samsung's Settings program because this includes the power plan configuration.

    Hey, sorry for the late response, in power options it's set to sleep, I also tried to set it to shutdown but that didn't have any effect either.
    I guess I'll be looking more into the SW Update tool. Thanks for pointing that out.
