I've got an Ativ Book 8 (NP880Z5E) running Windows 10. I left it open last night. When I woke up, it has the following message:
"all boot options are tried. Press <F4> key to recover with factory image using recovery or any other keys for next boot loop interation"
WTF happened and is there anyway to fix without losing everything?

Have you tried tapping the F keys immediately after turning on the notebook. It's either F1 or F2 to get into the BIOS where you can reset the to the defaults settings and F12 should also give you an options list. You may have to try a few times to get the F key noticed at the right moment (repeated tapping - don't hold the key down).
If no joy there then plenty of people have seen their Samsung noteooks sulk. Start with the Unbricking Solutions thread.
Did you keep the BIOS up to date? If you did then it should have reduced the risk of this happening. If you didn't then it's easier to flash the new BIOS without having to figure out the force switch.
