    Hi all,
Today I ran into such a problem:
    I have Samsung NP940X3G-K01US https://www.samsung.com/us/computer/pcs/NP940X3G-K01US-specs
Bought ssd samsung 970pro(MZ-V7P512BW) I started updating, but my laptop does not detect it, it writes to BIOS - SATA Port1-Not installed.Just put the native disk and everything is in order.
Many thanks for the replies. please help me.

Ura535, saw your post here and on a couple other forums... Did you get it to work? Sammy TS says there's no newer firmware...

    By the specs:
    Storage Interface SATA3

You can use any m.2 drive that supports SATA3, not NVMe, grab an MX500 1TB and over-provision it at 20%.
