I have a Samsung Ativ Book 8 and my backlit keyboard will not stay on. I can adjust brightness in easy settings and using hotkeys on the keyboard and the backlit keyboard responds normally. However, after a couple seconds the keyboard will turn off. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks

Try covering the Ambient Light Sensor (it's probably next to the power on light but check the user guide) so the computer thinks it is in darkness.

By covering the sensor the keyboard will stay on, and will turn off when there is any light in the room. Even if there is just a little bit of light the keyboard wont stay on. Is there anyway to adjust the settings so I can just manually turn my keyboard light on or off?
