I have a strange problem with my Series 7 Chronos notebook. Let me just give you a quick roundup: I bought this laptop 6 months ago and I installed a SSD instead of the vanilla HDD. Because I wanted to use this opportunity to get rid of all the bloatware I did a clean reinstall of Win7 Prof. 64bit. I downloaded the drivers and software from the Samsung website and installed all those manually.

I use a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 and initially I had no problem pairing the mouse with the laptop. Bluetooth seemed to work fine. But I noticed that I couldn't see any bluetooth devices apart from the mouse. This didn't bother me as, at the point of time, I did not own any other bluetooth devices.

Now, just a few days ago I had to pair the mouse with another computer and it seems like the original pairing with the Series 7 has been lost. And I cannot reestablish the connection. Whenever I try to add the mouse in Win7 the window just remains blank and no devices are shown (even though the mouse is in pairing mode). I now own a bluetooth smartphone and headset and both will not show up using the laptop. The same is true for another bluetooth capable laptop. All the devices work fine with other computers.

I tried reinstalling the chipset and bluetooth drivers/software but that didn't help. I'd greatly appreciate any helpful suggestions. Thanks.

Any luck with this? I've occasionally experienced some issues with my mouse repairing as well.

My MS 5000 occasionally (typically every couple of days) loses its connection. Usually it reconnects within a minute but a few days back I had to remove then redetect it. I've had no problems with concurrent Bluetooth connections to different devices.

I first tried a BT mouse about 4 years ago and, at that time, the frequency of mouse connection problems made me put the mouse in the drawer. BT now seems to be better but still not perfect.

Well, I haven't found a solution yet. I tried using a ASUS USB bluetooth dongle but that didn't work either. There must be something seriously broken with the drivers. I will probably have to do a complete re-install of Windows 7 and see if that changes anything.

I also have a Samsung Serie 7 Chronos that i bought in UK and I recently realized that the bluetooth device doesn't appear anymore in the system. I can't connect any bluetooth device anymore, and it became impossible to activate the bluetooth, it has even disappeared from the windows device manager.
I was thinking of a hardware failure, but it's quite hard to believe as the computer is just about 6 months old.
I have no idea on how to solve the problem.

Turn the Bluetooth on in (Easy) Settings. If Bluetooth or WiFi are turned off using (Easy) Settings or Fn+F12 then the devices will disappear from Device Manager.
