I need a second laptop/netbook really not expensive and I've found an interesting NF210 for just 130 euro.
It is in good conditions and is fully functional.

Could it be a good deal if it will be used for web browsing and light programming activity (C, Java, web) ?

Most important aspects for me are keyboard and display quality and portability.

p.s.: concretely at which "standard" cpu can be the atom N550 be compared ?

Samsung's netbooks used to be well built. The CPU is OK for web browsing and I'm sure it can handle programming but will inherently be a bit slower than a faster CPU. You can compare CPU performance using notebookcheck's mobile CPU benchmark list. Thwe atom N550 is currently at #475.

You may also want to look around for refurbished ultraportables that are 3 or 4 years old.

Unfortunately I think that those ultraportables are really more expensive than ~150 euro...

Do you have the local equivalent of a company such as this? However, a 4 year old ultraportable tends to be heavier than a netbook and the battery is probably half dead (but it has a bigger display).

And for what concern really performance (Not bencmark...) ?

For example, a core 2 duo low voltage like P8400/P8600 is still far away from an Atom (OR an AMD euivalent) dual core or there aren't so many diffrences ?

There will be a significant difference in performance and there is also a big difference in usability: A 1280 x 800 display can display a lot more information than 1024 x 600. Are portability and battery life key considerations?

There are netbook, like some Samsung, that have a resolution really close to 1280x800.
Portability and battery life for netbooks and notebooks < 13.3" are of couse key aspects and it's impossibile to not consider.

    Stefano.

p.s.: these days I've just found a really interesting "offer" for a Lenovo X220 (new but with no warranty such that with no bill) at 400 euro and I'm wondering if it could be really a good deal or not... also if a little more too expensive than my stated max budget (300 euro) for a netbook/ultraportable

    I don't like Acer products.
Awful build quality and bad keyobards.
