    Can I install a TV-card on the R530 ?

    Samsung used to include this feature in their older notebooks made for the Korean market. Recent Samsung notebooks also contain an unidentified socket which may be for a Samsung TV tuner. However, unless you live very close to a transmitter, you need to use an external antenna to get a usable signal in which case a USB TV adaptor is convenient.
