Two months ago i bought an RF710 notebook, but i have continously had problems with my network connetion. It keeps disconnecting about every 30 minutes, then after 30-40 seconds it reconnects automatically. This happens regardless if i am on wireless or cable.
When it happens when i am on wireless i can disconnect from my home network and then reconnect the connection maually and it works right away. So i am pretty sure that it is a problem with the computer and not the network.
I am using Freerapid download manager and i think this program might have something to do with my problems, because as i remember there wasnt any issues before i installed freerapid(no, i wont uninstall it, where would i then get my :-D). I have simultanously been using my old LG laptop with Freerapid to test if it was the network, and there is no problems with the connection on that one.
Can some of the preinstalled samsung software have something to do with the problems?
I can post a copy of my router log if it is any help.

What is the IP address lease duration given by the router? I set this to around 20 hours. If you are running any Samsung network management software then uninstall it. I have yet to find a use for such software (although I assume that there are situations when it may help).

You would need to go into the router admin. The router manual will give the info about how to do this.

Also, if you haven't done so, download the latest network (wired + wireless) drivers from the Samsung download site and install them. This might clear up any problem with settings on the computer.
