    A browse of some UK computer websites reveals that Samsung is quickly changing over to Core 2 Duo in its notebooks. For example, at http://www.digiuk.com/section.asp?a...=&f2=&f3=&f4=&f5=&f6=&f=2&t=20&ms=&k=&s=0&gt= :
    R65 with T5500 - in stock
    X11 with T5600 - in stock (and cheaper than X11 with T2300!)
    P50 with T5600 - in stock
    Q35 with T5600 - in stock
    Q35 with T7200 - in stock
    X60 with T7200 - awaiting stock

    Perhaps Merom support is the only change in the latest X60 Bios 09XA (dated 26 Sep 06). I have installed this version and don't notice any changes.

    John, where did you find that new BIOS? I can only see 08XA on www.samsungpc.com for X60.
