I installed cyberlink youcam2 and it says that it will not run on resolutions smaller than 1024x768. however, on the website it says the minimum resolution needed is 640x480. anyone know what's wrong?

Not familiar with that particular software but they are likely talking about two different resolution requirements. 1024x768 for that actual application and 640x480 as a maximum for the actual camera resolution.
