    I have an rc512-s02, i picked it up for 750 i think, new long ago. it works perfectly fine and everything.. but.. i went to best buy and saw the enw one with backlit keyboard etc, ITS SO NICE. 999

    It would be so dumb to switch laptops now. However, this time next year. I hope they have the ivy bridge in them and have even better styling, those are fricken sweet already.

    Anyone own one? pros/cons? i read mixed stories, some sites say gt525m is better than the the radeon and opposite on others sites. why does it only have 512mb though?. style blows my rc512 away, but i feel my gfx card is probably better than it.

    Series 7 with ivy bridge processors and new graphics should come out later this year (I am hoping for the summer time), and I heard it is supposed to have nvidia graphics as well, instead of the amd (drivers don't work flawless).

    I love mine, and gt525m is quite a bunch slower than the 6750m inside the S7. The AMD in this is comparable to a gt550m or so.

    the i7 at bes buy has a 6490, not a 6750m.
    dunno, notebook check etc all those sites are showing them less than 5% change between cards.

    either way my machine is stout for now. i will wait til ivy bridge kicks in these, and i will be buying a new one and put this pc into a desk to never be used again. i buy a new laptop every year or so. good to have back ups.
