Would someone please be so kind as to help me disable the touchpad on my Samsung RC530? Running Win7 64 bit.

    Thanks!

Two possibilities that come to mind:

    (i) One of your Fn key controls lets you turn off / on the touchpad (it's Fn + F5 on my NP900X4C).

(ii) If you have the Elan touchpad there should be a check box at the bottom of the control panel to automatically turn off the touchpad when a USB pointing device is plugged in.
