    Hi,

I have a V25 with a cracked screen casing that I want to replace. But I am having problems getting the screen bevel off. I have located the two screws at the bottom of the screen but I can't find any screws at the top of the bevel.

There is just solid plastic underneath the three round rubber bits at the top of the screen and playing with the screen lock doesn't seem to help releasing the bevel.

Can anybody tell me if there are other screws holding the bevel on or can I just work the bevel off once I have unscrewed the two screws at the bottom of the screen?

    Thanks for any help.

    Paddy

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately the tutorial focuses on replacing the LCD cable. It doesn't tell you how to get into the screen. But what I might do is throw a comment on the tutorial and see if Steve or someone else has a suggestion.

My guess is that the rest of the screen just clips together. Start trying to open up the join near where you removed the screws and get to the top last.
