Has anyone successfully upgraded the crappy display their Sammy series 7? I'm looking at the Z5C but can't seem to pull the trigger with so many bad reviews of the screen and people returning their units.

Is it even possible, and if so what's the cost to upgrade to a 1080 IPS panel?

Saw that you tried a display and it didn't fit, Ill be happy to find out if you can manage to find a suitable part. What about the connector, is it fairly standard?

You can take a look here as someone open it up to the screen to fix a bent area.
