Not being the uber advanced user im loathe to go disabling drivers like the install instructions for AsTray suggest.

I know that more advanced users take that sort of thing in their stride and might have already tried AsTray to get its benefits for apps etc.

So does anyone know if it does work, doesnt work etc?

Quote: "It was programmed for non-platform-limited, which means AsTray Plus should work for all computers which have an intel GMA device installed."

And the Samsung NC10 has the Intel GMA950, so it should work.

However, the NC10 has a 10.2" Wide SuperBright® WSVGA 1024 x 600 (220nit) screen, and I'm not sure if AsTray Plus supports any resolutions above 1024x600, which would make it pointless.

it does support 1024x768 downscaling. which is what i want/need for some games on the netbook.

latest non-beta version doesnt support 1024x600 resolution, so when you use it (i tried it quickly earlier without disabling the drivers like it states) i couldnt get back to my normal res without restarting the machine.

i think 1.40 beta does support it though.
