There are some very tiny openings for the air on the left side of my laptop (model in sig). With my old laptops the fan openings were prominent so I could just a can of air duster to blast out any dust. Can I just do the same here?

Do you think that the cooling system is not working as well as when new?
Some people warn against blasting the fan with compressed air in case it spins too fast and damages the motor (although I haven't encountered this problem). Fluff, which can block the cooling system is a bigger hazard than dust and is much more difficult to remove. If you think you have a cooling problem then it's worthwhile removing any covers on the bottom (and, on older notebooks with a removable keyboard, remove the keyboard) in order to improve access to the fan and cooling system and make it easier for any dust come out while you are doing the cleaning. You can pull out any bits of fluff with a paper clip rebent to have a small hook at the end. You may be able to go fishing for fluff through the exhaust vents.

Yeah, the cooling is a little weak to begin with. Mine operates at 50-70 C in normal Windows tasks with the back propped up an inch in somewhat warm weather (27-29 C ambient I think). It gets very dusty where I live so every 2 weeks or so I have to clean out my laptops.
Is there a manual for dis-assembly available from Samsung? -

Samsung service manuals are hard to find. You can try phoning these people and see if you can buy a service manual. Otherwise you are on your own. This thread is an old example of what can be done when there's a need.

Do your laptops get dusty? How do you clean them out?
