    What's the maximum screen resolution that this laptop can drive? 1080p? 2k? 4k?

    The official specifications state that the micro HDMI port is limited to 1920 x 1080.

    I don't recall anyone managing to drive a higher resolution on these older models although people have succeeded with higher resolutions (at lower refresh rate) on the NP940X3G and it's possible that this work-around will work on the older models as well.
