Is there a speedy alternative to Firefox that im unaware of?

Ive got several addons installed for Firefox (the main reason that i actually use Firefox is because of adblock and noscript) and it seems choppy especially when having a few tabs open browsing different sites.

Whether its a result of having addons installed or not i dont know, but seeing as these little machines have such little room for maneuver when it comes to intensive tasks i thought maybe a new browser which is very secure, fast and memory/cpu efficient might be in order.

    Any recommendations then?

I run mostly in Opera because it's faster. Chrome can also be faster.

Are you sure your NC10 is in performance mode? Firefox felt quite snappy to me.

    Hey Phil,
How do you switch between the modes? Is performance mode, speed mode?

im like pratap, i dont know how to put my nc10 into performance mode.

theres several settings, but im not sure which is which.

theres a picture of a running man which can be toggled between normal and low settings... there is one final setting on the 'running man' toggle which i cannot set. (possibly max performance??)

theres the battery manager which allows you to set maximum performance - but thats for lcd brightness and other battery saving stuff isnt it?

I used the running man picture. But maybe you can only run the max performance on AC? i always had it on AC.

The high performance setting is only selectable when an application is highlighted, and it then boosts the performance for that app.

What is this "running man picture"? I don't see it in the battery manager.

It's the picture on F6 or F7 or something like that.

Looks like you can select a max performance option in Samsung
Battery Manager. If you use the fn+f8 shortcut it only works with an application highlighted, which is called Speed Mode.
