Function keys not working- SAMSUNG Series 7 NP700Z3A-S06US

I recently purchased a Samsung Series 7 Chronos with Windows Home Premium which I replaced with Windows Enterprise. However, now all the function keys do not work, even under a user account with administrator privileges.

Any suggestions for fixing the problem?

Samsung Easy Settings must be installed for Fn keys to work. You can download it from the support page on Samsung.com.

Do note that the module for Fn keys (EasyDisplayMgr) is only loaded 30 secs after user login.

Some people report loss of Fn keys after resume from sleep or hibernation. I would suggest uninstall/reinstall of Easy Settings if that's what you see.

 

I have had to download this more then once for my NP700Z5C-SO1UB...here is part of the live chat I had to fix this problem....and yes it did fix it...again. Hope this helps anyone else having this problem.

The easiest way to get Samsung's drivers and software is to use the SW Update program. There is actually a Windows 7 version of Easy Settings V2 included in the installer of the Windows 8 Settings program which you can obtain using the Find and Export functions in SW Update.
