I just bought the series 7 from bestbuy today. I performed windows update and all my drivers aparently were current. However when I play Diablo 3, I am getting tons of artifacts. In fact, at times my entire screen went black, causing me to die in hardcore. Lol

But seriously. I just found out this version has the gtx 630m version wiwth only 512, but my other laptops with similar gtx mobile cards and my other laptop without a graphics card play d3 just fine. I even turned down all the settings to the absolute lowest.

What am I doing wrong. My directx is 11 and i went to nvidia support and i downloaded a supposedly updated driver but it says not compatable with the car i have.

TIA guys. I love this laptop but I know theres got to be a update i'm missing or a step.

I have no hands-on experience with dedicated graphics but I would start by running HWiNFO, select sensors and check the maximum speeds and temperatures.

My NP700G7C-SU01 GTX675 gives my artifcats in D3 when there are things like lightning flashes.

I had a window pop up yesterday when starting D3 that says my GTX 675 driver needs an update.

sorry guys. i used the wrong term. it's graphic stretching. I get this in the lowest possible settings. I've performed the Diablo 3 tech support troubleshoot and now i've got the settings lower than lowest possible. It's alot better now, but i am still getting graphic stretching.

My d3 client also mentioned tha tmy drivers need to be updated. but samsung reps say there are none.

ALso there is a update for nvidia for a newer driver for this model. However after I download the update driver, it won't run: not compatiable hardware.
