It's certainly a nice stylish all-rounder for that price.

However, the AMD 6490M GPU in that model isn't very good for gaming: AMD Radeon HD 6490M - Notebookcheck.net Tech

The 6750M in one of the other S7 models is quite a bit better if you can find it, and within the same price range: AMD Radeon HD 6750M - Notebookcheck.net Tech

If you're prepared to spend more $$$, you should definitely go for the newest Ivy Bridge model with Nvidia GPU: Samsung - 17.3" Series 7 Laptop - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive - Silver - NP700Z7C-S01US

The touch-pad certainly takes getting used to on the Series 7 range, but I don't find it that bad. No blu-screen errors on the latest 8.940 graphics driver for the Radeon 6750M. You should probably read some of the topics/threads that discuss these issues in more detail.
