    I got an Samsung NC-10, and I want to know what hardware upgrades can I do with it to make it faster?

    If you haven't done so already, upgrading the RAM from 1GB to 2GB will give Windows more room. The other upgrade is to either a new generation HDD with at least 320GB per platter (this gives faster transfer rates) or an SSD. The latter may be attractive if you don't need much storage space. The 40 to 64GB SSDs are relatively affordable. The quick access time of SSDs will make the computer more responsive.

    That's about all you can do. You can't swap out the CPU.
