    I have a few spots on my screen and I am thinking about replacing it.
    I have found this replacement screen

    Samsung NP700Z5B-S01UB Notebook Display Replacement | LAPTOP & TABLET LCD SCREEN FROM $34.99.

    But have found this one for a newer model

    That's full hd, touch, and cheaper. Any one think it will work?
    BTW I am running windows 8 and wonder if touch function would work as well?
    I am also in the electronics field and work on industrial controllers, so taking apart and putting back together the laptop is not an issue.
