I just bought this Samsung Series 5 AMD Quad-core last Sunday and this is my first laptop. I bought this because I'm taking up a computer related course (incoming computer science student next month) and because I want a portable laptop. I'm worrying about the battery of my laptop because I don't know how to use sealed laptop and I'll be using this for 4 years. Is it ok to plug the charger every time it reaches 10% to full charge it? Will it affect the battery? Or will it break the battery? Any tips on using a sealed laptop to manage it well?
Thanks and God bless.

Unless you need the maximum run time on battery then enable the Battery Life Extender option in Settings (which limits the charge to 80%) and use the mains power as much as possible to avoid unnecessary draining of the battery. Unlike nickel based batteries, which benefit from being used throughout the whole charge range, lithium batteries incur most of their wear during the final stages of charge and discharge.
You may need to occasionally (every 6 months or so) run the battery calibration option in the BIOS. I recommend doing so after about 9 months. Once you have done the calibration (followed by a full charge with the battery life extender temporarily disabled) check the battery wear using HWiNFO or similar program. If the wear exceeds 30% then try to get the battery replaced under warranty. I did this for my NP900X3B (for which there seems to be a bad batch of batteries) but my NP900X4C is still at 0% wear after 10 months.
