The software is called OmniPass and on boot it installed this AuthenTec Pre-boot Auhtentication - ROM Version 3.2.0.2 and I cannot get rid of it for the life of me. In the settings of the program once you enable it there is no option to disable. I came to the conclusion that this thing is built into the BIOS now since nothing I do in Windows helps

I tried to flash the BIOS to latest but it won't let me since I already have the latest. Please help me here!

I just tried a fixmbr and that didn't help. I am pretty sure this is now tied to the BIOS or something nasty like that. Please help me, I am freaking out here. Is there any way I can go back to old BIOS or maybe update the BIOS manually?

How do you clear CMOS on this laptop or how do you reset the BIOS? I tried the new ROM on Samsung's site but I already have my BIOS up to date. I am trying to remove the preboot authentication fingerprint ROM

Since it's a hardware issue, have you tried to disable it from the the BIOS menu? Try to restart your machine pressing F2 when it starts up, search for the fingerprint thing and disable it.

Trust I have looked in the BIOS but it's not. The BIOS didn't come with this feature, this is a third party thing.

TPM is disabled. I have tried enabling and clearing it and then disabling again with no luck.
