Hey. I have a quick question about my current laptop ( http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Series-NP700G7C-S01US-17-3-Inch-Laptop/dp/B006MX0WHU).Does the laptop have an HDMI-IN or another way to allow me to use it as a display? I ask because I want to build a gaming rig but don't have a space for a monitor and was hoping to use this laptop as a monitor for the time being. Thanx for reading. Hope to hear back soon.

Although I don't own the G7C myself -- and it is a unique and powerful machine in many ways -- I am 99% sure it does not support HDMI input to use the LCD as a monitor. In fact, I haven't heard of ANY laptop with such a feature.

I know alienware has an in and out (in one slot), but I thought this one had it too. It's cool. I was thinking about upgrading anyway (not now but in the future).

OK, thank you, I didn't know that about Alienware.
