Last December, AMD released an update which changed CCC into Radeon Settings. I installed the update from their site so I now have Radeon Settings. The graphics driver of my laptop (Samsung NP370R4E-S06PH) is a switchable one (Intel HD 4000 and AMD Radeon HD 8750M) but when I installed the update, my AMD driver was changed into AMD Radeon HD 8600/8700M, which I think is normal if you install a driver from their site.

Since the update, I can't boot up my laptop properly from hibernate or from shut down with fast startup enabled. Whenever I start my laptop from hibernate or shutdown (with fast startup enabled), my laptop will show the Samsung logo with the circle of white dots for a few seconds then shuts itself down. Sometimes, I would hear a sound as if something stopped spinning inside my laptop. I have to press the power button again to start it from cold boot. It boots up normally if I wake it up from sleep or from restart.

I never bothered doing a system restore as I don't have time to do that back then. I already lost the restore point anyway before the update so I can't use system restore to fix this problem. I used troubleshooting tool for power (no issues were found), checked if there are any updates for the drivers from SW Update (all are up-to-date), and tried sfc /scannow command (no problems were found). The graphics driver package provided from SW Update for my laptop model is the one mixed with Intel update so I don't know how I can install the AMD driver provided in that installer without re-installing Intel and CCC (I like the new UI of Radeon Settings).

    Can someone help me?
