I have a quick question for all you series 7 owners.
How hot is your CPU when your laptop is idle?
How about when you put the laptop under a lot of stress?
Core Temp has my idle readings at 50-55C.
Putting it under stress (a fairly graphics intensive MMO with CPU usage option set to decrease) heats up the laptop to a whopping 90-94C. This is with a pretty decent cooler underneath.
I find this odd, because putting my 1.5 year old POS Gateway computer under the same conditions (i3 370M CPU) results in 35-40C idle and 70-75C under stress.
I have a 14 inch model.

I got about the same values on my 700Z5A, the i7 version. Perhaps the i5 version is a bit cooler, but either way I don't see a problem with this.
I've used it for some hardcore gaming for a whole weekend with very little sleep and didn't have any problems what so ever, so the machine can handle it for sure.
It's mainly the CPU that gets hot, and it has built in throttle that is very secure, so you should not be able to destroy the CPU due to heat issues anyway.
