    Hi there,
I just purchased a Sammy 700Z5A and whenever I hip caps lock, a huge pop-up appears (similar to that when you change the brightness using the function keys) with CAPS LOCK ON / CAPS LOCK OFF.

This is honestly very annoying and I can't seem to find the setting to turn it off. Could anyone please help me? Cheers!

This is because of Easy Display Manager. What version of Easy Display Manager are you running on your model? You can check it in the Control Panel before you remove it.

I must have missed it because I've browsed every single option in Easy Settings and have found nothing at all to remove the "CAPS LOCK ON/OFF" image. :/ Could you maybe provide a screenshot or something?

I think there is no option for it. But the notification is part of easy settings as I did a clean install of windows and easy settings was the only samsung tool I installed. And I also got this annoying popup.

I used AutoHotKey as described at this superuser.com question to map caps lock to CtrlBreak. Then I keep easy settings running, but AutoHotKey prevents it from seeing the caps lock press and I get ctrl+break since it is missing from the keyboard.

I use SharpKeys to map my Caps Lock to normal shift.

I have found something that you can change, so instead of if you press capslock you just need to press shift to turn caps lock off. This will make that the CAPS LOCK OFF notification will be gone. Whitout using any program here is the link http://www.isunshare.com/windows-8/how-do-i-turn-off-caps-lock-with-shift-key.html it will be a video there. I know its on mac but its pretty same, just watch the full video or schroll a bit down and it will be pictures.
