Currently I have 3GB installed. I was thinking of upgrading to Vista 64bit and upping the memory to 4GB.

Btw does anyone know the battery life difference between 32 vs 64bit?

Be aware that Samsung does not currently provide 64-bit versions of its utilities such as Battery Manager, so this may affect the battery life.

Actually the lack of 64 bit utilities is annoying as many of the hot keys do not work, neither do the on-screen displays. The lack while inconvenient does not affect battery life as you can duplicate any of the Samsung settings within the advanced options under power management.

Also to answer the title question, just 2 slots, you will need to remove a 1GB module and replace it with a 2GB module to get to 4GB of RAM.
