    Just found out that we don't have driver support for 8.1 :( unfortunately I already upgraded mine from a fresh reformat. I'e been scouring the net and still cant get anything to work :(

    Thanks buddy. I must have done four reformat since last night trying to find the right combination of drivers. I was seriously considering buying a mac awhile ago lol

    I managed to reformat to Windows 7 and manually updating it to 8. I'll probably just keep it there and save me the trouble :)

    Windows 8 is fine on the series 9 - frankly, I haven't seen any "improvements" in version 8.1. I also run Start8 - best $5 I've ever spent!
