I just upgraded from a Samsung RC512 to a Series 7 NP700Z5B. The big touchpad is nice but the one finger tap is just too sensitive! I click everything by accident.

If I disable one finger tap then two finger tap no longer works, even though it is checked as enabled.

If I re-enable one finger tap then two finger tap works again.

I love two finger tap for opening pages in a new window. Is there a work around?

See this thread for how to change the sensitivity.

Thanks, I'll post over there to try and find some answers. The current driver/app does not have any sensitivity settings. It only has scroll, double click and pointer movement speed.

The C:\Program Files\Elantech\ETDAniConf.exe tip from a thread here was $$$ for allowing me to set the advanced touchpad settings on my Samsung Series 7 NP700Z5B-S01UB.

Tip: To easily find and make further adjustments, create a shortcut on the desktop to it.

I didn't find it there, although there were other files. I searched the drive and found it in some temp folder elsewhere. I ran that and turned on two finger click (not tap) and set that to Middle click. It's not as good as a tap but it is priceless.
