Can anyone explain to me how I can remove the hdd memory in my Samsung ultra touch 5 series notebook? I actually need to get I to the BIOS but nothing is working my computer just keeps restarting, went to geek squad and they said that my windows 8 was wiped out of my computer while updating and died :( Thanks for any help in advance.

Can you not get to the BIOS at all? Maybe Samsung Recovery Solution still works. Tap the F4 key a few times immediately after turning on the computer. However, if it works this will overwrite the C partition. In which case you would first need to remove the SSD from the computer and put it in a USB enclosure and connect to another computer to copy over all your personal files. So that may be the question you are asking: How to get inside and remove the SSD? Start by removing all the screws on the bottom with a good quality screwdriver of the right size then prise the bottom off starting at one of the front corners. I expect the www has a few Series 5 disassembly or teardown guides.

Thank you for such a fast response, I removed the hdd and go to a screen like this which I'll post a pic in a sec. F4 isn't working still for me. I'm not great with computers but I'm trying lol I've tried shift F4, Ctrl F4, F2, F4 repeat 3 times per second...

Also try tapping Esc, F1 and F12 to get into the BIOS.
