Hi everyone,
I have a Samsung Laptop NP270E5j nearly 3 years old.
I decided to change 1TB HDD on my laptop with a 240GB SSD.
I have tried some free cloning tools like Casper and all failed to boot or throw me some winload.efi error. (I had changed BIOS settings like UEFI boot etc.)
Then I decided to get my 11GB factory image to SSD via Samsung Recovery and tried to start a fresh install from it.
But i failed again. After i change my HDD with SSD and start the computer, it gets in Recovery mode, waits a couple minutes, and then say something like "No compatible OS found on disk".
I have tried all this a couple days ago so I cant post screenshots.
I wonder if anybody in here would give me an advice?
Thank you very much.

Hi Erdi, welcome to NBR.
Check the post linked below, which describes four different ways to get Windows onto your new SSD.

That post also has a link to more detailed steps on creating and using the Factory Image. -
Hi Dannemand,
Thank you so much for your reply.
I've been able to use the Samsung Recovery right way and now I'm typing from my new Win8 on my SSD
