Hello,
I have a NP700Z7C-S01US Samsung laptop, and I am sure many of you know that the hard drive for this model is a bit sluggish. So, I found this post and was going to upgrade to a 100 gb SSD. My question is can I convert the internal HDD to an external drive? Also, is this the correct model I would need?
Thanks for reading.
Edit:
I also found this would it work?
Thanks again.

The 2.5" USB 3.0 caddy should work OK.
However, unless you frequently use the optical drive then another option is to mount the HDD in the optical drive bay as discussed in this thread.

Thanks for the update.
Which SSD did you install and where did you put the old HDD?
John
Internal HDD
