I just got a samsung np-n145-jp02us from Best Buy ($250). I have a few questions.

1: This netbook is not on Samsung's website. Is it too new, or is it some special Best Buy thing that Samsung doesn't acknowledge?

2: Is there a way to select the boot device on start up, such as pressing a function key during boot-up. I would like to boot off of an USB port to run Acronis, so I can make an image.

3: The specs say it is rated for 2gb. Has anyone tried a 4gb stick just to see if it will work? If I had a stick I would try, but I will have to buy whatever I put in it.

Thanks for any replies, comments or advice. I will probably have a few more questions later.

    1. This appears to be a new model. So far, only the manual is available on the Samsung UK site. Keep checking.

    2. One of the keys will get you into a boot menu. I can't remember which. Try pressing Esc at the BIOS screen. F2 gets you into the BIOS setup.

    3. I think the Intel chipset provided with netbooks can only address 2GB (a marketing constraint). It may recognise a 4GB module but only use 2GB.
